Team can get off to a good start in basketball, but I don't know that I've seen a team shoot the ball 100% in a quarter like the Lions did. on Wednesday night.

The Lions jumped out to a 23-2 lead at the end of the first quarter, shooting 8-8 from the field and including 6-6 frombehind the three point line.

Lions defense forced 25 turnovers and rolled to a 56-25 win over the Pioneers.

Lions were led in scoring by Drew Barrington for the second game in a row as he finished with 15 points.

Here are the game highlights for the Lions in their win over the Pioneers.

The Lions are now 2-0 on the season and will face the Red Bud Musketeers on the final night of this years Trico Invitational Tourney. Tip-off is set for 6:00 PM.

I will be on the road with John A Logan this weekend, so John Homan will be flying solo on NewsRadio WJPF (AM1340/FM99.5).

Just a reminder that there WILL NOT be a YouTube livestream of the game Friday night.
