Finally, after a two month wait, Carterville Units School District #5 was to celebrate the Jr High and High School class of 2020, by holding their graduation ceremonies at Lion Field.
For the last several years, I've had the opportunity to be a part of various events at the school in addition to doing play-by-play for Lions sports. For the last two nights, I've been live streaming these graduation ceremony's for the district.
I just wanted to take a moment so say thank you to the CUSD#5 administration, teachers, staff. We are truly lucky to have such a great group of people that care so deeply for the student in Carterville.
