The Carterville Lions (4-0) are off to a blazing start this season, rolling through the first four weeks with confidence and momentum. This Friday night, they’ll step outside of conference play for a big test against the Hopkinsville Tigers (3-2) from Kentucky.
Hopkinsville brings plenty of athleticism and speed, and they’ve shown the ability to put up points in bunches. For Carterville, the challenge will be continuing their sharp execution and balanced attack that has fueled their unbeaten start.
This non-conference clash is more than just another game on the schedule—it’s a chance for the Lions to prove themselves against a tough opponent from outside Illinois, while Hopkinsville looks to spoil the Lions’ perfect record.
