Not the result that we were lookiing for last night in week eight as the Carterville Lions were beat 43-26 in SIRR Conference play. With the win, the Red Devils win the Ohio Division coference title outright.

There are only two more regualr season games in this 2023 IHSA High School Football season.
The Lions are coming off four consecutive home games in a row as they hit the road to face the Murphysoro Red Devils tomorrow night.

I preview the game tomorrow night and we talk Cartervillee Jr High playing for state titles and two other teams qualify for state next weekend.
