
The Carterville Lions wrapped up the 50th Benton Invitational Tourney on Saturday night, after losing to Herrin 68-59.
A big congratulations to Kaden Wilson who was outstanding at the BIT, averaging 21.5 points in the two games he played. He was selected to the #50BIT All-Tourney Team.

The Lions have completed their "in season" tourneys for the year after finishing 2nd at the Trico Invitational, 2nd at the Eldorado Holiday Tourney and 4th in the BIT.
Tonight, the Lions get back to business with the first of three games this week, when they host the Chester Yellow Jackets in non-conference play.
Carterville enters the game 9-10 on the season while Chester comes in with a 9-11 record overall.

The Lions willl hit the road on Friday night as they return to SIRR Conference action when they face the Herrin Tigers for the fourth time this year. Saturday night, the Lions will host the Benton Rangers.
