Tuesday started the sports season for me as it’s opening day for the 2026 Thrillville Thrillbillies.
My sports schedule for 2026/27 starts today and goes all the way through March.
Here is how my day goes as I return as the PA announcer for the Thrillbillies.
Going back to the very first year of Southern Illinois Miners baseball back in 2007, I have spent summers in some capacity at the ballpark.
From the early years of Miners baseball and a weekly radio show "Riding the Pine" on 103.5 ESPN, to being the on-field host for several years before moving upstairs and being the PA announcer at Mountain Dew Park.
I thought I'd take the camera along yesterday to let you see what the day was like.
