No Game For the Lions - Sparta Game Cancelled

The Carterville Lions were supposed to make their first road trip of the season tonight. But that's not going to happen.

The Sparta Bulldogs canceled their game this week due to lack of players available. Due to injury and other reasons the Bulldogs were only going to have seventeen players available.

The Lions will next play on April 16th when they face cross-county rival Herrin. On April 23rd, the Lions will wrap up the 2021 football season at Du Quoin to face the Indians.
