It was a rainy homecoming game of the Carterville Lions as they welcomed the West Frankfort Redbirds to Lions Field.
After a weather delay due to lightning that last close to two hours, the Lions were able to put the Radbirds away and improve their record to 2-1 after the 21-16 win.
Here is a condensed game video of the game hightlights as heard with me and Keenan Clark on NewsRadio WJPF.
The Lions will hit the road for the next four games, starting this Friday night when they face cross-county rival Herrin Tigers.
Keenan and I will have the call on NewsRadio WJPF starting at 6:45 PM.
