Hello All!
Well....it's here. The 2024 IHSA Football season opens this weekend. The Carterville Lions, who played five home games one year ago, will only have four home games this year. They will play one of those home games to start the season Friday night as they host the Benton Rangers.
One year ago, the Lions picked up a 22-12 win on the road at Benton, to beat the Rangers for the second year in a row.
