Cadet DJ was the first on the scene as the alien light shaft materialized directly onto the carpet baseboard. Standard protocol dictated caution, but Cadet DJ chose immediate, uncompromising hand-to-hand combat.
Tactical Engagement Summary:
Phase 1 (Visual Lock): Cadet DJ identifies the glowing corridor and the microscopic particle fleet hovering within it.
Phase 2 (The Meerkat Shift): DJ deploys full vertical ascension, rising up on hind legs to launch a barrage of rapid-fire air jabs.
Phase 3 (Flanking Maneuver): Executed a dramatic 180-degree spin to attack the sunbeam from the opposite side, coat fully illuminated in bright solar glow.

It has abandoned the floor portal and moved up the side of Mount Armchair toward the Great Window.
Ascent Attempt #1: Claws slipped on the green cliffside. Gravity continues to be a nuisance.
Tactical Reassessment: Stood on hind legs to track the warm target.
Ascent Attempt #2: Scaled the summit! Elevated warmth secured.
Conclusion: The Sunbeam cannot escape me, no matter how high it climbs. To celebrate this victory, I am now neutralizing the patterned pillow. ☀️🐾
