This may be. the game of the week in high school football in our area tonight as the Carterville Lions are home for the first time this season as they host the Nashville Hornets at Lions Field at 7:00 PM. Just a reminder, this is a non-conference matchup between this two teams, as the Carterville Lions are now in the Ohio side of the River To River Conference starting this year.

The Nashville Hornets throttled the Carlisle Indians last week 42-8 while the Carterville Lions picked up an impressive win on the road at Benton in a 27-12 win over the Rangers.

I had a chance to talk to Head Coach Brett Diel about the matchup tonight.

Join me and Keenan Clark for your pregame coverage starting at 6:45 PM on NewsRadio WJPF AM1340/FM99.5 and streaming on www.wjpf.com. You can also watch our YouTube livestream below.
