It Was Friday Night Lights...2020 Style

Carterville Athletic Director and head football coach Brett Dial said he woke up this morning with that gameday feeling.

Tonight the Carterville Lions held a 7 on 7 scrimmage at Lions Field. There were lights, scoreboard, and even fans that showed up to watch the Lions work the offense on the field.

I had to chance to talk with Coach Dial afterwards:

It definitely had that gameday feel and I can't wait until it is for real.
